This notice explains what TagCheck processes during a test, why it is processed, and when third parties may receive requests.
Who operates TagCheck

Tag contents
TagCheck does not intentionally store pasted tag contents in an application database or create a tag history. HTML, JavaScript, inline VAST XML, bulk files, and URL parameter analysis are primarily processed in your browser. Closing or resetting the test clears the visible working state.
VAST and redirect resolution
If you submit a VAST URL or request a live redirect check, TagCheck sends the submitted URL to a server-side function so the remote response can be retrieved. The function processes it for the requested test and is not intended to create a saved tag library. Hosting providers may nevertheless create limited security or operational logs.
Live previews and external requests
Live creative previews are enabled by default so the submitted creative can be tested immediately. A preview may load media, scripts, images, pixels, verification resources, or other URLs controlled by third parties. Those providers may receive technical information such as your IP address, browser information, time, and referring page under their own policies. You can turn the preview off in Optional test settings. VAST playback trackers remain disabled unless separately enabled.
Technical and usage information
The hosting infrastructure may process IP addresses, request paths, timestamps, response status, and browser or device information for security and reliability. If website analytics is enabled, TagCheck uses Google Analytics 4 and limited operational logging to record predefined events such as page views, workflow selection, analysis starts, resets, and exports. GA4 may use cookies or similar browser identifiers and receive technical information under Google’s own terms. TagCheck does not intentionally send pasted tags, landing-page URLs, query parameters, placement IDs, tracker URLs, filenames, or file contents as analytics event properties.
Purpose and retention
Technical information is used to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the service. Operational logs and analytics should be retained only for a limited period configured by the service operator and hosting provider. TagCheck does not sell submitted tag contents or use them to build advertising profiles.
Contact page
The Contact form formats a message and copies it on your device. It does not transmit the entered name, email, or message to TagCheck. Information is sent only if you separately email it.
Your choices
Do not submit confidential tags or URLs unless you are authorized to test them. Turn off the creative preview and keep video trackers disabled when you do not want third-party requests. Website analytics can be disabled from the footer, Do Not Track is respected, and local development traffic is excluded.
Children
TagCheck is a professional advertising QA tool and is not directed to children.

This notice may be updated as the service changes. Material changes should be reflected on this page before the related processing begins.
